Collection contains letters to Lewis (1767-1839) from Alexander Wood, overseer of Audley Farm, Lewis' property in Battletown (now Berryville (Clarke Co.)), Va. The letters give details of the products of the farm and their prices, and note the sales of slaves. There are also letters to Lewis' son, Lorenzo.
